Wilson Kurschner - Writer/Director

My name is Wilson Kurschner and I am a 20 year old award-winning filmmaker. I grew up in Minneapolis, and so needless to say this project is very personal to me and is largely based off of my experiences growing up here. I made my first feature film when I was 15 and have a hefty amount of experience in theater and music in addition to film! When I was 18 I moved to LA to pursue an education in film and digital media. While there, I learned how real, professional sets run and function, and now I’m excited to finally be able to bring that knowledge back to MN and showcase our city!

Madison Lafferty - Producer

My name is Maddison Lafferty and I’m 22 years old. I grew up in Salt Lake City, Utah and Vancouver, Washington. I was a dancer for 19 years and started off at Hussain College LA as a dancer major. My freshman yearly college, I started producing a YouTube series and absolutely fell in love with producing. I switched my major to Film and Digital Content and am continuing my education with a focus on Producing.

Kate Graves - Co-Producer, 1st AC

Hello! I’m Kate Graves and I grew up creating in my hometown of Seattle, Washington. My films have been featured in numerous festivals, most notably the National Film Festival for Talent Youth (NFFTY) and the Seattle International Film Festival (SIFF).

Now based in LA, I am currently working towards a BFA in Film + Digital Content at Hussian In Studio Los Angeles. When not in school, I am a dedicated camera team member and I work professionally in the film industry. Within the industry and college community, I make active strides as a female filmmaker to promote gender parity by connecting and spotlighting different female voices within the entertainment industry as a part of my club, Advocates for Women in Entertainment (AWE). As an independent filmmaker, I continue to focus on my own creative work and explore all the different positions within filmmaking.

My name is Milan Debert, and I am a 20 year old award-winning illustrator, filmmaker and musician. I grew up in Los Angeles, California, and have lived here my whole life. I've worked in every category of filmmaking, from top-tier student films, professional productions, and my own stories that I write and direct myself. I've attended art schools from preschool all the way to college, and surrounded myself with an ever-growing group of young, passionate artists who inspire me to never stop evolving, including the incredible people in this team.

Mia Romsaas - Costume Designer

My name is Mia Romsaas and I am a rising Junior costume design student at the Carnegie Mellon University School of Drama. My intended graduation year is 2023 with a BFA in Drama.

Born in Taejeon, South Korea and raised in Minneapolis, Minnesota, I am now based in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania to continue my academic and artistic studies. 

I have experience in a wide variety of visual and performing arts, including, but not limited to, painting, drawing, musical composition, dance, and fashion. I also have a passion for exploring the reflection of society through my creations. I am also heavily involved in social justice and activism, and want to promote intersectionality and equality through my art and my work.

Kat Bradford - Production Design

My name is Kat Bradford, I am a 20 year old art student in LA and have been working here as a creative assistant to brands as well as doing production design on student films! I grew up just outside of Seattle WA and have felt the most comfortable around the intersection of technology and art. I moved to LA to be closer to the film and art scene and am super stoked to be working on this production with a group of such driven and talented people!
